The students at Howard W. Blake and other schools across the Tampa Bay area are far from amateur. These future filmmakers have an eye for great cinema and know how to tell a story.

Now TBAE is excited to bring these student short films to you. The HCPS Student Film Showcase will feature the films that competed in the 2017 Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) student competition. The collection of short films includes Manic, which earned the Best Picture, Best Cinematographer and Best Director awards.

Don’t miss the phenomenal work of these student filmmakers. Tune into TBAE March 11th at 8:00 p.m. on Spectrum channel 635 or Frontier FiOS channel 32 to watch the compilation of short films. In addition to Manic, the series will include:
