Sabyn Mayfield was working on the 2012 film “Spring Breakers” when he was approached by fellow writer and producer Jennette Sepwa with the script for “And a Bag of Chips.”

Immediately stunned by the real and honest story, Mayfield was honored to have directed such a piece for a dear friend.  Sepwa would later portray the main character, Abigail, for the film, and the film has gone on to be nationally recognized at a number of film festivals, including the Audience Award at the Gasparilla International Film Festival in 2014.

And a Bag of Chips” follows the path of a recovering addict, Abigail, and her journey to discovering her true self.  With the help of family and friends, Abigail begins her journey to heal from wounds past and present, and learn that healing begins from the inside out, not the outside in.

Sabyn continues to produce, direct, and write his own films with his production company Stay Fly LLC, based out of California.
