In today's episode Mario Núñez meet with two special guests that do an excellent job taking us down memory lane. First guest, Terri Parnell Longphee, Senior Director for Sales and Marketing for the Florida State Fair, shares how far the event has come since it's arrival in 1904. She explains that this years fair is one you wont want to miss! Mario also chats with Bill Harris, Principal Librarian of HCPLC, who shows us some extremely old photos of Tampa's origins.

Joining host Mario Núñez in studio this week to talk all about the upcoming 2017 Florida State Fair is Terri Parnell-Longphee.  Terri, a Tarpon Springs native knows full well how exciting the State Fair can be, and her appearance on The Tampa Natives Show bears that out. She is fun and informative and loaded with all sorts of goodies.   

Also joining in this week to talk a little Burgert Brothers history is Bill Harris of the Hillsborough County Public Library.  Bill presents some iconic images of the more 15,000 housed at the John Germany Library downtown.  No one meant more to recording Tampa history that the Burgert familiy, and Bill is with us to explain why.
