Girls building underwater robots and deploying them into the Tampa Bay.

The 2017 Girls Underwater Robotics Camp led by Erika Bergman, a National Geographic Explorer and submarine pilot.

Together through an incredible partnership with Hillsborough County School District, The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), The Florida Aquarium and TBAE Network created a 3 day inspiring event.  20 students representing the Hillsborough County School District to work in teams to construct several Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) designed to explore the underwater world in one exciting weekend.

Parents are thrilled with this incredible program. Students who would have never thought they could complete such a complicated project are amazed at what they can do.
