The Tampa Bay Arts & Education Network(TBAE) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which began its community service in 1987, as The Tampa Educational Cable Consortium (TECC), with a mission to provide practical and economical, broadcast cable television access to members of Hillsborough County’s arts and educational communities. Since then, TBAE has continuously adapted to the ever changing TV landscape by developing innovative, state-of-the-art broadcasting initiatives designed to increase the quality and ubiquity of its programming endeavors.

By effectively leveraging industry technology trends, TBAE has also built a solid reputation as a dependable and cost effective producer of practical, educational programs to help the citizens of Tampa Bay and beyond achieve their educational and intellectual goals. In recognition of this accomplishment, during the past 30 years TBAE has been nationally awarded over 100 times for broadcast and production excellence (including 12 Telly Awards).
Additionally, TBAE has taken a hands-on approach in supporting education by providing career-building internship opportunities better preparing our students and residents to enter the communications workforce in Hillsborough County.
